"Dimitris Chorafas once again takes a complex topic and explains it in an engaging and accessible manner. The Changing Role of Central Banks takes a tough and unvarnished look at global interdependencies and how unfettered central banks with the best of intentions feed these interdependencies. This should be on the shelf of policymakers, political economists, and ordinary people who want to understand financial crises and the new world order created and accelerated by them." - Christopher L. Tucci, Professor of Management of Technology and Chair in Corporate Strategy & Innovation, Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, Switzerland
