Pop sensation Angel Albright is arriving on Christmas Eve, trailed by minders, a prickly family, and a stack of kidnap threats.Chief Superintendent Wiggles asks me to help keep things calm while the elf police tighten security. Then, in the crush of lights and lenses, something goes horribly wrong and a member of Angel’s entourage doesn’t make it to morning. With Nick at my side, and Gilbert, the house-elf, “helping” in ways only he can, I start sorting star-gloss from truth: old grudges, new contracts, and a fame machine that runs hotter than cocoa on a snow day. I need answers before the threats become headlines and before Christmas in Candy Cane Hollow turns from glitter to danger.Candy Cane Killer is the fifth book in the Candy Cane Hollow Christmas Cozy Mystery series.
