These fat-quarter friendly projects will help you de-stash, or send you running to the quilt shop for more. The book explains what a fat quarter is, and then gets straight into the projects. The photography is breath-taking. The contemporary designs will speak volumes to the modern woman and quilt artist. The ideas are mainly geometric and colourful. Some of them could even be mix and match taking a row from several designs. I love Nellie Gray for its mix of white, grey and yellow. Star Burst is out of this world. All the designs are very handsome and desirable. You get block size and quilt size; materials, cutting and assembling with photos and diagrams and at least two photos of the finished quilt. At the back of the book, there’s how to finish everything off and templates. Recommended.
