MEG RUSSELL is a Senior Research Fellow at the Constitution Unit, University College London. From 1993 to 1996 she was a Researcher for Clare Short, MP and from 1996 to 1998 she was National Women's Officer of the Labour Party and was involved with the organization of candidate selection for all levels of government. From July 2001 to March 2003 she was seconded as a Special Advisor to Robin Cook, Leader of the House of Commons.
