Professor Elana Shohamy is Professor Emerita at Tel Aviv University. Her areas of expertise include language policy, multilingual assessment, immigration, linguistic landscapes, and language-human rights. She received the ILTA Lifetime Achievement Award in Language Testing (2010). Her recent publications include Developing Multilingual Education Policies (with Tannenbaum, Routledge, 2023). Professor Michal Tannenbaum is the Chair of the Program for Multilingual Education at Tel Aviv University. Her research focuses on psychological and emotional aspects of immigration and minority experiences, including family dynamics, identity, and intergroup relations. Her recent publications include Developing Multilingual Education Policies (with Shohamy, Routledge, 2023). Professor Ofra Inbar-Lourie lectures in the Program for Multilingual Education, Tel-Aviv University. She has published widely on language assessment, particularly regarding language teachers' assessment practices and language assessment literacy. Her recent publications include Towards a Reconceptualization of L2 Classroom Assessment (co-edited with Poehner, Springer, 2020).
