John F. Donahue is Professor of Classical Studies at the College of William & Mary. He has written numerous books, articles, chapters, and reviews on ancient food and drink, as well as health, diet and Latin epigraphy. Lee L. Brice is Distinguished University Professor of History at Western Illinois University.
