Beskrivning
This endearing picture book in rhyme is a love letter to bookshops and the space they provide for discovery and delight.   A little boy adores visiting the old bookshop down Lemon Tree Lane with his grandpa – its nooks and crannies, its endless stories, and even the bookshop dog at the back. That is, until the day the owners box up the books, take down the shelves and lock the doors, and the bookshop is no more. But then something wonderful happens … Perfect for readers aged 3 to 6.

Recensioner i media

'This delightful story will evoke warm and exciting memories of visits to bookshops, as well as special times spent with a grandparent. With skilful rhyming text accompanied by striking full colour highly detailed illustrations, this will be a book to share over and over again.' –READPLUS‘A delightful story both about accepting and embracing change and the close relationship of child and grandparent. It is also a celebration of bookshops and the treasures they hold. The story is told in rhyming couplets which gives it an almost ballad like rhythm and makes it perfect for reading aloud.’ –CBCA READING TIME
