Paul Hardman attended a Secondary Modern school as a teenager in Salford where he found creative writing to be a pleasure. This continued to be the case, at university where he studied French and Spanish in the beautiful surroundings of Stirling.Visiting the continent as part of his degree, he found himself comparing Spanish and French cultures to those in the UK. On his return, and to this day, he remains inspired by his experiences leading to the writing of this book, The Black Wall. He found this creative process to be a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience and he is confident that his readers will find it equally so.
