Uma Nada-Rajah was a member of the Young Writers' Programme at the Traverse Theatre and is a graduate of École Philippe Gaulier. She is a recipient of the New Playwrights Award and the winner of the Inaugural Kavya Prize. Uma is currently under commission to the Almeida Theatre in London and the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow. She also works as a nurse for NHS Scotland.
