Birth of a Great Power System, 1740-1815

Hamish Scott is a Professor of International History at the University of St Andrews.He is recognised as the leading authority in the English-speaking world on later-eighteenth century international relations and is also the author of three previous studies of aspects of this subject, most recently of The emergence of the Eastern Powers 1756-1775 (Cambridge).
