Pablo Bolaños-Villegas (Edited By) Pablo Bolaños-Villegas is a full-time faculty the University of Costa Rica, in Costa Rica, Central America. He obtained his BSc in plant science at the University of Costa Rica and his MSc at the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology in Pingtung, Taiwan, under the guidance of FC Chen. His doctoral work was guided by Guang-Yuh Jauh at the Taiwan International Graduate Program of the Academia Sinica, in Taipei. Currently, he is trying to determine how ploidy impacts flower development in orchids and how habitat loss impacts population viability. He has published in Plant Cell and Frontiers in Plant Science. He currently serves as an editor at The Annals of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, is a collaborator of The World Academy of Sciences for the Advancement of Science in Developing Countries (TWAS/UNESCO) and is a member of the International Society for Horticultural Science.Fure-Chyi Chen (Edited By) He received a PhD from University of Hawaii, Department of Horticulture working on transgenic anthurium, an tropical ornamental. He has been working in National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Department of Plant Industry, while serving as the Dean of Agriculture College recent 3 years. He has worked on orchid tissue culture, biotechnology, breeding and development for years. I also served as field editor for Taiwan Society of Horticulture Science as well as Horticultural Journal of Japan in the field of floriculture and biotechnology.
