'Nature is our best teacher. It is cyclic, and it heals and sustains itself. This compendium of chapters on bio-inspired structures and design is an inspirational collection that validate the supremacy of nature as the master teacher for clever design and the magic of natural materials. Kudos to Soboyejo and Daniel for presenting to us this compelling story.' Diran Apelian, University of California, Irvine
