Prof. Suresh Sundaramurthy is Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and has held postdoctoral and visiting faculty, research positions at international and national institutions (CUNY, USA, AIT Thailand, JNCASR, Bengaluru, IIT Kanpur, Pondicherry University). His research interests include catalysts, reactor design, environmental biotechnology, waste-to-energy, nanoengineered materials, biofuels, decarbonation and green hydrogen. He has supervised numerous Ph.D. and master's students and has substantial experience in R&D projects. He has undertaken several Energy & Environment consultancy projects and technical services including Gas Authority of India Limited, NCAP-MoEFF&CC, Central Effluent Treatment Plant (Indore), CITIIS 2.0 (Ujjain), M.P. Pollution Control Board, Directorate of Urban Administration & Development, State Co-operative Dairy Federation, Animal & Poultry Development Corporation, C-STEP Pvt Ltd. He has published over 130 research papers in SCI-indexed journals, authored/edited 14 books and 41 book chapters/encyclopedia and holds four patents. He has been technical expert member of A.I.C.T.E and Bureau of Indian Standards. He has hosted and lead different technical industry-academia conference/webinars including ‘CO2 Reduction Processes for Future Energy Development’ involving participation from different industry experts with emphasis on conversion of CO2 into value added products, coal gasification and H2 as the source for future energy. He has received awards from SERB-IUSSTF, Ministry of Education, DST-Uttarakhand Council of Science and Technology, Institute of Engineers. His research interests include wastewater, microplastics, membranes, biomass conversion to biofuels, biodiesel synthesis and cleaner biofuel processes. He is the author of more than 50 peer-reviewed journal publications, 15 international conference proceedings, and one Iranian patent. He currently serves as a reviewer for 5 international journals in the field of engineering and sciences. Dr. Mu. Naushad is working as a full professor in the Department of Chemistry, College of Science at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His research interests include wastewater treatment, adsorption, ion exchange, bioremediation, and photodegradation. Dr. Naushad is the author and coauthor of more than 500 refereed journal publications and several books, book chapters, and US patents.Dr. Nadeem A Khan is currently working as an Assistant Professor inthe Department of Civil Engineering at King Khalid University, Abha,Saudi Arabia. He worked at Mewat Engineering College as an AssistantProfessor from August 1, 2012, to February 23, 2022. He has submittedhis Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He also acted asAcademic Coordinator of the Civil Engineering department from 2014to 2017. He is an editorial board member of Nature Journal - ScientificReports (IF=4.3) and a special issue editor of Springer Journal on DiscoverWater. His recent accomplishments included 15 Coursera coursecompletion certificates. LWT India and GECL awarded them the BestYoung Scientist Award (Male) for their Scientific contribution to Environmental Engineering.He has also served as an external examiner and paper setter at Integral University, Lucknow,and Dehradun Technical University since 2013. Has got his M. Tech. (Civil Engineering) in2011, and received Honors in Environmental Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University.Mr. Khan was associated with the Ministry of Environment and Forest for two years asa Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in 2009-11 and also worked with UNICEF as a ResearchAssistant (RA) on the topic ofGIS mapping andWater quality parameter estimation, includingmonitoring of the Agra Region for six months in 2012. He has professional experience at DLFLaing’sRourke India Ltd as a Construction Engineer on an SEZ project in Gurgaon from2008 to 2009. He qualified for the GATE examinations in 2010. His industry activity areaswere post-contract works, reconciliation, planning, and budgeting. His one chapter aboutSBR wastewater treatment technology was recently published in Lenin Publication. He hasattended several conferences, workshops, seminars, and research projects, and has engagedin various research endeavors. He has published 03 Books with International Publishers, 55papers in SCI, and 15 in National journals. He has also published more than 10 patents inCivil Engineering and water treatment. He is also active in social welfare activities. He is theJoint Secretary of the Environmental Awareness Society, Environsense, which organizes over25 events. Dr. Afzal Husain Khan works in the Civil and Architectural Engineering Department at Jazan University, Saudi Arabia. He received his PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, and B.E. and M. Tech degrees from the Aligarh Muslim University, India. He is an academic editor of PLOS ONE, Advances in Civil Engineering (Wiley), Associate Editor in TEIEE, and Guest Editor in Elsevier/Springer/Frontiers journals. He has been involved in many funded projects under the Deanship of Scientific Research (DSR) in Saudi Arabia. He has 90+ peer-reviewed publications (h-index >30; >3000+ citations), 4 books (edited), 6 patents, and 5 book chapters to his credit.
