Bhil Revolt

A Century and a Quarter of Struggle chronicles the enduring resistance of the Bhil tribes against the Rajputs, Marathas and British colonial forces from 1800 to 1925. It highlights the Bhils’ transformation from autonomous rulers of a vast territory in Central India to a marginalised and oppressed community due to deceit, exploitation and deprivation of their lands and resources.
