Sebastián Carassai is a CONICET researcher, Professor of Foundations of Society and the State at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and member of the Centre for Intellectual History at the Universidad de Quilmes. He is the author of The Argentine Silent Majority: Middle Classes, Politics, Violence, and Memory in the Seventies and coeditor, with Kevin Coleman, of Coups d'État in Cold War Latin America, 1964–1982.
