Beyond Islamic Studies

This volume brings together interdisciplinary research in Islamic, religious, and cultural studies, covering a wide range of subjects and perspectives and challenging conventional academic boundaries and assumptions. It discusses both historical and contemporary examples, with a particular focus on issues relating to theory and methodology, music, soundscapes, and popular and material culture.
