Designed to help boost teenage literacy, this guide offers annotated selections of over 10,000 recommended books. Arranged by subject with a subject / grade level index, its aim is to assist collection evaluation, development and reader guidance for the 15-18 age group. Titles were selected from many sources, for example, "School Library Journal", "Booklist", "Voice of Youth Advocates" and "The Book Report". In most cases two or three favourable reviews were required to qualify for inclusion. Separate author and title indices are included.
