I was strolling through a cold, boggy, uninviting wetland with my family one day, when my sister-in-law mentioned that there was a sport called bogsnorkelling. Bogsnorkelling? Really?! I looked it up, and was instantly inspired, both by the craziness of the competition and the devotion of the people doing it. There had to be more quirky but true sports – didn’t there?….
