Part of a series which is aimed at therapists concerned with rehabilitation in a very broad sense this particular book gives information on the home visit. It explains how to carry this out with a disabled person prior to his/her discharge from hospital to assess their practical needs and to discuss the subsequent provision of equipment and adaptations. Further information is given on counselling the disabled person and his family and the planning of future intervention which must be given a low priority. The book is aimed particularly at students of occupational therapy, those who have recently qualified as occupational therapists and those who are returning to work after a period of absence.
