Assessing Intellectual Development

The purpose of this book is to articulate an integrated conceptualization of theory, assessment, application, and evaluation. Part 1 addresses the conceptualization of these four components, the potential for integrating these components in the context of intellectual development, a refined assessment instrument to measure intellectual development, and the result of using the instrument. Part 2 focuses on the practicality of learning to use the Measure of Epistemological Reflection (MER) introduced in the first part, and offers a complete training package for researchers and practitioners.
