This edition shows that growth in Asia and the Pacific remains robust amid strong domestic demand and continued recovery in exports.Technology exporters are particularly benefiting from higher global semiconductor sales driven by the artificial intelligence boom. Inflation in the region is expected to ease further, supported by the lagged effects of previous monetary policy tightening and declining global food and energy prices. However, risks loom, including potential increases in protectionism depending on the outcome of the United States presidential election, escalating geopolitical tensions, further weakness in the property market in the People's Republic of China, and adverse weather and climatic conditions.
