Heather Eggins is a Visiting Professor at Staffordshire University, and at Strathclyde University UK. She is a Fellow Commoner of Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge. Her research interests are in a range of aspects of higher education policy and strategy, including access issues and skills. She was a Fulbright New Century Scholar, and, apart from teaching in higher education, has served as Director of the Society for Research into Higher Education, and a consultant to UNESCO.
