Dr. Narashasns Alok Sagar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, University Centre for Research and Development at Chandigarh University in Punjab, India. He possesses expertise in several domains, including Food Microbiology, Secondary Metabolites, Waste Valorization, Molecular Biology, Nanotechnology, and New Product Development. Dr. Sagar published over 40 contributions, encompassing research papers, review articles, book chapters, and popular articles featured in esteemed national and international peer-reviewed journals from reputable publishers.Dr. Surbhi Agarwal is a passionate and dedicated professional in the field of public health and nutrition and committed to addressing global health challenges and promoting health equity. She is currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Edinburgh working on two projects of Data for Children Collaborative with UNICEF, focusing on gender-related barriers to immunization and improving prediction models for malnutrition prevalence. Dr. Surbhi Agarwal has also contributed significantly to various projects aimed at improving nutritional status among women of reproductive age in India during her collaboration with the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). In addition to her research roles, she has been actively involved in teaching human nutrition and dietetics to food technology students.Dr. Agarwal’s academic achievements involves Ph.D. in Food Science and Human Nutrition from National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), a Master of Public Health from Imperial College London, specializing in understanding global health challenges and employing innovation to achieve sustainable health improvements and another Master of Science in Food and Nutrition from University of Delhi. She is also a life member of the Nutrition Society of India. Dr. Sunil Sharma is currently working as Food Safety Officer Shimla-I (Urban) under the Directorate of Health Safety and Regulation , Shimla Government of Himachal Pradesh, India.He has worked in the pharmaceutical and agriculture industries as an Agriculture expert handling the diverse spheres related to the medicinal plants besides this he has qualified ICAR-NET examination conducted by ASRB (Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board) under the aegis of Indian Council of Agriculture Research, New Delhi. Presently he is engaged as food safety regulator ensuring the compliance of food safety regulations as directed by the central food authority Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), New Delhi. Dr. Vikas is an experienced Data Scientist and Consultant with a Ph.D. in Food Business Management and an MSc in Big Data, adept at leveraging statistical modeling and machine learning skills. Academic achievements include a diverse educational background and a solid grasp of advanced analytics. Professional experience encompasses roles as a Data Scientist, Consultant, Health Data Analyst, and Research Associate, demonstrating expertise in environmental management, public distribution, healthcare, and social entrepreneurship. Accomplished in deep learning model training, and impactful data-driven decision-making. Proficient in R, Python, Linux, and SQL, with strong data visualization skills using Ggplot2, Plotly, Matplotlib, PowerBI, and Tableau. Published works include papers on inventory management, TQM practices, and data modeling in finance. Recognized with awards such as the National Eligibility Test and the Bharat Ratna Mother Teresa Gold Medal for Social Services. A lead speaker in workshops on statistical techniques, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and more.Prof. Anet Režek Jambrak is a full-time professor (tenured) at the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb, Croatia. She received her PhD in 2008, the title of her doctoral thesis: Ultrasound effect on the physical and functional properties of whey proteins. She was trained abroad at Coventry University in the UK and at the University of Avignon in France. She holds the title of full professor (since 2018) and scientific advisor (permanent title) since 2017 - food engineering (biotechnical sciences).Since 2019, she has been the head of the Laboratory for Sustainable Development. Her areas of research are nonthermal processing, advanced thermal processing, sustainability, food processing, industry 4.0, digitalization, food chemistry, food physics, etc. Since 2007, Anet Režek Jambrak has published over 130 significant scientific papers with more than 6550 citations. She is the author of numerous book chapters by recognized scientific publishers. She has been invited to more than 40 conferences as an invited lecturer or keynote speaker. She is the winner of many awards and recognitions: in 2021 she received the Emerging Sustainability Leader Award from MDPI Sustainability Foundation; In 2019, it was included in the Highly list Cited Researcher, among 0.1% of world scientists, Web of Science. In 2009 and 2019, she received the state award for science from the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, Ministry of Science and Education, Government of the Republic of Croatia; In 2016, she was awarded the Young Scientist Award - International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFOST).
