Wan Li is an associate researcher at the Institute of Environment, Energy, and Sustainability at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from where she also has a PhD in architecture. Her primary research focus is green buildings in urban and rural areas under the background of sustainable development and their evaluation systems.Liu Xiaoxue is an architect and illustrator who has worked at the Chinese University of Hong Kong for the 1U1V initiative, focusing on sustainable rural architecture design and construction practices.Chi Xin’an has a PhD in architecture, and is a postdoctoral research fellow and project specialist for the 1U1V initiative at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His main research interests are new rammed earth buildings and sustainable rural development.
