Kristoffer Neville is professor of art history at the University of California, Riverside. He focuses on early modern art and culture in northern Europe. His books include Nicodemus Tessin the Elder: Architecture in Sweden in the Age of Greatness (2009) and, with Lisa Skogh, Queen Hedwig Eleonora and the Arts. Court Culture in Seventeenth-Century Northern Europe (2017). His articles have appeared in Art History, Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians, Journal of the History of Ideas, Renaissance Studies, Wiener Jahrbuch für Kunstgeschichte, and other journals.
