Aristotle on the Perfect Life

Aristotle's teaching on the subject of happiness is of vital importance to the question of the relevance of his ethics today. Anthony Kenny argues that we should look to the Eudemian Ethics, a work still neglected in favour of the better-known Nicomachean Ethics, for a comprehensive account of the perfect life. He combines scholarly discussion of the Greek texts with reflection on the topics discussed by Aristotle, taking account of post-Aristotelian treaments of themes such as moral vocation and moral luck.
