Jacqueline deRose-Ahern is an international award-winning author who adores exploring allthe world has to offer! Her appreciation of travel and uniqueness of culturehas been captured in the pages of her books. Jacqueline was the recipient ofthe ACT Writers Centre 2017 Anne Edgeworth Fellowship. Her books have beenrecognised for a number of awards within Australia and internationally,including winning the travel category of the 2020 American Book ExcellenceAwards and being shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Australia Book of theYear Awards in 2017 and 2019. Jacqueline regularly contributes to a variety ofonline platforms and has appeared at several literary events, including theCanberra Writers Festival, the Goulburn Reader Writer Festival, and the NSWKids & YA Festival. Jacqueline endeavours to encourage her readers to learnmore about the world, supporting an empathetic and inclusive community. Sheholds a Masters in International Development and works in internationalaffairs. Jacqueline is also committed to assisting aspiring creatives on theircreative journey. Karen Erasmuslives by the sea just south of Melbourne with her children and husband. Thecoastal environment and the vibrant countryside around her home provideinspiration for her illustrations. Karen’s livelyhome life often finds its way into her artwork; she loves to create artworkthat brings stories to life. She has enjoyed illustrating over 20 picturebooks. Karen draws on an iPad carefully choosing colour palettes and textures.When she isn’tdrawing Karen enjoys travelling, she has lived in many different parts of theworld and was originally from the UK. She settled in Melbourne to raise herchildren and loves her adopted home country.
