Alessandro Gori (Livorno, 1966; PhD, Naples, 1998) is associate professor of Arabic literature at the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies, University of Copenhagen. He specializes in the Islamic literature of the Horn of Africa, on which he has been extensively publishing.Adday Hernández (PhD Madrid 2014), is an Assistant Professor at the Universidad Complutense. She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the CSIC (Madrid) and the University of Copenhagen. She specializes in Islamic Law and has several publications on this field.Irmeli Perho (PhD Helsinki 1995), joined the IslHorAfr project in 2015. Previously, she had catalogued Arabic manuscripts at The Royal Library of Copenhagen. Among her catalogue publications is Catalogue of Arabic Manuscripts.
