Dr. Hafezeh Nabipour is a researcher at Western University and previously served as an associate professor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) for three years. She earned her PhD from Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University in Iran in 2015. Prior to her time at USTC, she worked at Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University and the University of Tehran for three years, serving as a visiting scholar and postdoctoral researcher. Her research focuses on the design of novel bio-based polymers, the synthesis of innovative metal-organic frameworks, and the development of advanced complexes for applications in fire safety and drug delivery. Dr. Rohani is the past Chair of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Department at the University of Western Ontario. He is a full professor in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at the University of Western Ontario, where he also served as the past chair. His research focuses on solid-state chemistry and pharmaceutical control, the application of artificial intelligence in pharmaceutical crystallization, and the synthesis and applications of metal-organic frameworks. He has authored over 400 refereed journal publications.
