Anne of Green Gables: The Chapter Book Collection

Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert need help on their farm, so they've adopted what they hope will be a sturdy, helpful boy. Instead, Matthew finds Anne awaiting him at the train station - imaginative, brash, redheaded Anne-with-an-e. With her place at the Cuthberts' at risk, Anne will have to learn patience, understanding and what it takes to make Green Gables her true home. Lovingly adapted by Kallie George with beautiful nostalgic illustrations by Abigail Halpin, this series is perfect for fans of Anne, new and old. This box set includes: Anne Arrives: Anne isn't quite what the Cuthberts expected, and she sets out to prove she belongs at Green Gables; Anne's Kindred Spirits: Anne meets Diana, her first friend and Marilla's brooch goes missing!; Anne's School Days: Anne is enjoying her first few weeks of school, but new student Gilbert Blythe isn't making things easy; Anne's Tragical Tea Party: Things go wrong at Anne's first tea party, and Diana ends up sick; Anne Dares: Anne undertakes some fearful tasks - a mean-spirited dare from Josie Pye followed by a starring role in the Christmas recital; Anne Dreams: Anne is starting to grow up as she goes from dreaming to making plans.
