Barbara Kosta, PhD from UC, Berkeley, is Professor of German Studies at the University of Arizona. Her research focuses on gender and ethnicity in twentieth and twenty-first century German-speaking literature, film and visual culture with publications on autobiographical writing, the 1920s modern woman, and women writers. Kosta is the recipient of Fulbright and DAAD awards.Margarete Lamb-Faffelberger is Professor emerita of German, founder of the Max-Kade-Center at Lafayette College and member of the Jelinek-Forschungszentrum. Publications include Elfriede Jelinek: Writing Woman, Nation, and Identity (2007), PASSAGES: Borders-Crossing-Openings.
