Patrick S. McCarthy is Professor Emeritus, School of Economics (SOE) in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at Georgia Tech, USA. His research areas include transportation economics, industry studies, regulation, and applied econometrics. He is the author of Transportation Economics Theory and Practice: A Case Study Approach (Blackwell Publishers, 2001), and has published widely in academic journals and edited volumes.
