Mourad Abed is a Full Professor of Exceptional Class (Rank 2) at INSA Hauts-de-France and the Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France (UPHF), and a researcher at LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201.He serves as Vice-President for Digital Affairs, Pedagogical Innovation, and Strategic Projects, and leads digital transformation at the National Institute of Applied Sciences. His research explores intelligent interactive systems, artificial intelligence for personalized learning, blockchain, the metaverse, and digital twins. He has authored more than 250 scientific publications and supervised over 22 doctoral and research-supervision theses. He has led major national and European projects, co-coordinated the EUNICE European university alliance, developed innovative degree programs, and co-founded the IEEE ICALT and ICMAIE international conferences.Houneida Sakly is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at the Center for Research on Microelectronics and Nanotechnology (CRMN) in the Technopole of Sousse, Tunisia. She earned her doctorate in Computer Science from the National School of Computer Science at the University of Manouba in 2019 through international collaboration with Gustave Eiffel University (ESIEE-Paris) and Polytech Orléans in France. From 2020 to 2022, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University, focusing on deep learning for radiological image analysis. She also holds a Healthcare Innovation certificate awarded by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Medical School. She serves as a trainer in AI and digital health in the Central Training Unit for Senior Officials of the Tunisian Ministry of Health.
