Aftershock Review

The Aftershock Review: Issue Two continues the work of the poetry magazine described by The Guardian as "a jolt to the mainstream." Following the success of Issue One, this second issue gathers powerful new poems of grief, illness, mental health, memory, recovery, ecological anxiety, queerness, desire, family and survival. Across lyric, narrative, experimental and formally restless work, Issue Two expands the world of The Aftershock Review: more voices, more risk, more tenderness. These are poems that understand damage not as an ending, but as a place from which language can still begin.
