Han Huang is a professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Software Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University. He holds a PhD in computer science from South China University of Technology. Prof. Huang has been elected to the National Young Scientist Programme and as Guangdong Natural Science Funds for Distinguished Young Scholar. He is also a CCF Distinguished Member and IEEE Senior Member. He is currently serving as associate editors of IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary, IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence and Complex & Intelligent Systems, associate director of the Key Laboratory of Big Data and Intelligent Robots of the Ministry of Education, director of Teaching Steering Committee for Software Engineering of Undergraduate Colleges and Universities in Guangdong Province, secretary-general of Software Engineering Special Committee of Computer Academy of Guangdong, and leader of Information Technology Consultant Group of Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Big Data in Finance and Taxation. Prof. Huang has hosted over twenty national and provincial projects and published more than 80 papers in IEEE TCYB, IEEE TETC, IEEE TSE, IEEE TEVC, IEEE TIP, IEEE TFS, and Science China, including ESI highly cited papers. He has 53 invention patents granted in China and seven invention patents granted in the United States. Zhifeng Hao is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the College of Science, Shantou University. He is the Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shantou University. He received a Ph.D. degree in mathematics from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China. At present, he is also the vice chairman of the College Mathematics Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the vice director of the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Committee of the Chinese Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics, a member of the Organizing Committee of the National College Student Mathematical Contest in Modelling, and the chairman of the Guangdong Supercomputer Application Industry Alliance. His main research interests include algebra and its applications, data science theory, artificial intelligence, mathematical modelling, etc. He has presided over 40 national, provincial, and ministerial projects such as the National Key Research and Development Program and the National Natural Science Foundation-Guangdong Joint Fund Project. In recent years, he has published more than 80 papers in important domestic and international journals, such as TNNLS, TKDE, PR, Bioinformatics, and Science China.
