Advances in Sustainable Manufacturing

Sustainable manufacturing promotes minimizing or eliminating production and processing wastes through eco-efficient practices, and encourages adopting new environmental technologies. A large and growing number of manufacturers are realizing substantial financial and environmental benefits from sustainable business practices. This book brings together large ranges of research and analysis under the theme of the design and sustainable manufacturing. This Book includes the manufacturing method of “sustainable” products (e.g. manufacture of renewable energy) and the sustainable manufacturing of all products. The Book describes concepts and familiarity with essential tools to practice sustainable engineering, which includes the life-cycle assessment, organizational resilience, energy efficiency and alternative energy, design and sustainable manufacturing, and environmental engineering. Studies emerge a framework of sustainable manufacturing in order to reduce the environmental impact.
