Girmaw Teshager Bitew, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Bahir Dar University, Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He holds a PhD in Power System and Automation Engineering from North China Electric Power University (2019), an MSc in Electrical Power Systems from Addis Ababa University (2011), and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Arba Minch University (2006). He has over fourteen years of academic experience and four years industrial experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Goldwind, China, contributing to microgrid systems and IEC standard development. Dr. Bitew has supervised PhD and MSc students, published over 30 papers, earned a patent, and co-authored books and chapters. He reviews for leading publishers including IEEE, Springer, IET, Elsevier, and AIP. He also serves on the Editorial Board of the ICAST book series and has been a keynote speaker, technical committee member, session chair, and judge at international conferences.Ahunim Abebe Ashetehe, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and Publication & Grant Research Management Coordinator at the Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University. He earned his BSc (2005) and MSc (2009) degrees in Electrical Power System Engineering from Adama Science and Technology University and completed his PhD in Electrical Power Engineering at Bahir Dar University in 2024. He began his academic career at Debre Berhan University, serving in teaching, community service, and administrative roles for six years. Since 2012, he has been a faculty member at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology. Dr. Ahunim has contributed to several conferences as Technical Publishing Chair and session chair. He is the editor of the Springer book Advancement of Science and Technology: AI, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, and Computing Technologies (2025). His research interests include renewable energy, rural electrification, microgrids, smart grids, optimization, and energy management.Debas Senshaw, PhD, BSc (Computer Science), MSc (Computer Science), PhD in Computer Science. He is assistant professor in the School of Computing at Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. His primary research interests focus on Digital Government, Digital Innovation, Digital Transformation and ICT for development.Mekuanint Agegnehu Bitew, PhD, received the bachelor’s degree from Mekelle University, Mekelle, Ethiopia, in 2005, the master’s degree from Addis Ababa University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree from the College of Electrical and Computer Science, National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2016. He has been a Postdoctoral Researcher for two years with the National Taipei University of Technology. Since 2022, he has been an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Computing, Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University, Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. His research interests include WSNs, ad-hoc networks, wireless communication, optical networks, and AI.Fekadu Shewarega, Dr.-Ing. (Member, IEEE) received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in power engineering from the Technical University of Dresden, Dresden, Germany, in 1985 and 1988, respectively. After graduation, he joined the Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia as an Associate Professor, where he served in various teaching and administrative capacities.
