Alan B Lumsden MD, Chief of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy, Professor of Surgery, Baylor College of MedicineDr Lumsden is a graduate of University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He completeted his general and vascular surgery training at Emory University in Atlanta, where he joined the faculty and rose to become chief of the division of vascular surgery. Moving to Houston in 2002, he become the chief of the division of vascular surgery, following in the footsteps of Dr Michael E DeBakey. At Baylor a very robust endovascular and research program was developed focusing on minimally invasive vascular surgery.
