He teaches writing and philosophy at Webster University Vienna, and is the author of various essays on contemporary philosophy, aesthetics and literature.Erik M. Vogt, Gwendolyn Miles Smith Professor of Philosophy at Trinity College (CT), received his M.A. (1988) and Ph.D. (1992) from the University of Vienna. He is the author, most recently, of Aesthetisch-Politische Lektueren zum 'Fall Wagner' (Vienna - Berlin: Turia + Kant, 2015).
