Adolescence in Context

The contributors to this book are all outstanding scholars in the field drawn from a variety of academic fields, including psychology, sociology, education, and medicine. They bring together the most recent research on the impact of contexts, such as cultural belief systems or groups characterized by different family structures, on adolescent development. Only recently has systematic research begun on commonalities and differences in developmental processes across contexts.
