Günter Engel, secondary school teacher, family therapist, systemic supervisor (HSI), systemic organizational consultant (HSI), coach, is the headmaster of a community school in Saarland. He is also a speaker in advanced training for teachers and school principals and at school principals' conferences in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Saarbrücken and Vienna. He has a master's degree in school management. Günter Engel is a member of the German Society for Systemic Education. His main focus areas include systemic conflict management, mindful self-management and leadership, and the application of polyvagal theory in schools. In 2008, he received the Weinheim Prize for the Promotion of Systemic Practice for the project "Approaches to a systemic leadership culture in school practice to develop a learning organization".
