A History of the Brazilian Novel

Mario Higa is Professor of Luso-Hispanic Studies at Middlebury College. He has extensively published in the United States, Europe, and Brazil. Higa is the author of Machado de Assis: The World Keeps Changing to Remain the Same (Tamesis, 2022) and Modos de leitura: crítica e tradução (Ateliê, 2022).
