6 Months

""Since she was little, Jenny sang, """"I hope they call me on a mission."""" And she hoped that they did--she worked and prepared for nineteen years to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When she was finally assigned to the San Jose mission, she jumped in with two feet, expecting to have some of the best eighteen months of her life as a Mormon missionary. Six months later, she gets on a plane to go back home, having had some of the most interesting and difficult six months of her life. She meets many people that change her life--but she also discovers an inability to keep a debilitating secret: a secret that may cause her to question everything. As her mental health deteriorates, she works to make peace between her secret and her faith--but can she survive as a missionary that preaches perfection if she's not perfect herself?""
