Shamsul Bari is the Founder Chairman of Research Initiatives Bangladesh (RIB). He is also the Vice Chairman of Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST). He retired from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) having served it for over twenty years in many senior capacities in various parts of the world. Meghna Guhathakurta taught International Relations at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh from 1984 to 2006. She Served as Executive Director of Research Initiatives Bangladesh (RIB) from 20024 to 2024. She is well published in migration trends in Partition histories, peace-building in post conflict societies seen from a gendered lens. She has co-edited The Bangladesh Reader (2013). She also served as Honorary Member of the National Human Rights Commission, Bangladesh from 2016 to 2019.
