DrMercy Maclean is a Practitioner Chartered Health Psychologist (CPsychol) andAssociate Fellow (AFBPsS) of the British Psychological Society, registered withthe Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is a full member of theDivision of Health Psychology (BPS) and serves as a Visiting Lecturer in HealthPsychology.Witha Chartership in Health Psychology via the British Psychological Society’sChartered qualification route, a Master’s degree in Health Psychology, and aBSc in Psychology, Dr Maclean brings both rigorous academic training andextensive applied expertise to her work. Her professional practice is groundedin evidence-based behaviour change science, health inequalities research, andpsychologically informed wellbeing interventions.DrMaclean’s career is defined by the integration of scholarly research withhands-on practitioner experience across health, community, academic, andorganisational contexts. She has worked extensively with healthcare professionals,patients, and service users, developing innovative behaviour changeinterventions to improve mental well-being, long-term condition management, andhealth outcomes across diverse populations.Herwork spans mental health, public health strategy, professional training, andpsychological education.
