Huanguang Qiu is a professor and dean of the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at Renmin University of China. He serves as the industrial economist for the National Corn Industrial Technology System, Deputy Secretary-General and Deputy Director of the Youth (Work) Committee of the Chinese Association of Agricultural Economics, Deputy Secretary-General and Director of the Young Scholars Committee of the Chinese Association of Agro-Technical Economics, and Vice President and Secretary-General of the Beijing Association of Agricultural Economics. His research focuses on agricultural economics, resource and environmental policy, and agricultural development policy. In 2018, he was selected as a Distinguished Professor under the Yangtze River Scholar Program by the Ministry of Education. In 2015, he was named a Young Yangtze River Scholar in the program's first batch. In 2013, he received the Excellent Young Scientists Fund from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.Ganxiao Leng is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at Renmin University of China. Her research focuses on rural poverty and food and nutrition security. She has contributed to three National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and published several papers in journals including China Agricultural Economic Review and Journal of Integrative Agriculture. In 2019, she presented her research at the American Agricultural Economics Association (AAEA) Annual Meeting.Mingyue Liu is an Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Development, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Her main research areas include rural poverty, livestock economics, and food security. She has led and participated in more than 10 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Social Science Fund of China. She has published over 30 papers in journals including the Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, Journal of Integrative Agriculture, Poultry Science, China Soft Science, and Issues in Agricultural Economy.Sangui Wang is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at Renmin University of China. He is director of the China Anti-Poverty Research Institute of Renmin University of China, an expert receiving special government allowance, a specially-appointed expert for the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Talent Pool, a member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the State Council Leading Group Office for Poverty Alleviation and Development, as well as a consultant for multiple international development institutions including the World Bank and the United Nations Development Programme. He is the chief expert of major projects of the National Social Science Fund of China, and was selected as one of the “Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University” by the Ministry of Education. He was awarded the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Achievements Award by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Fourth China Rural Development Research Award, and the First Youcheng Poverty Alleviation Research Achievement Award of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development.
