Dr. Amit K. Thakur received his B. Tech (Chemical Engineering) from Birsa Institute of Technology, Sindri, Dhanbad, India, M. Tech (Chemical Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India, and Ph. D (Chemical Engineering) from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. He has total 12 years of teaching and research experience. He has published more than 25 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals and participated in many conferences, workshops, and training programs. He has 1 patent granted by the government of India. He is reviewer of many journals such as, Separation science and Technology, Powder Technology, Chemical Engineering Research and Design, Particuology, International Journal of Chemical Reactor Engineering, etc. His research interest includes Advanced oxidation process, Pharmaceuticals, and personal care products (PPCPs) degradation, multi-scale modeling & optimization and Pharmaceutical Crystallization. He has published several chapters with Springer, Elsevier and Nova Science, USA, edited books. Dr. Rahul Kumar received his B. Tech (Chemical Engineering) from Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jhansi, India, M. Tech (Chemical Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India, and Ph. D (Chemical Engineering) from Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, Guna, Madhya Pradesh, India. He has total 12 years of teaching and research experience. He has published more than 20 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals and participated in many conferences, workshops, and training programs. His research interest includes Environmental science, pharmaceutical degradation, multi-scale modeling & optimization and Pharmaceutical Crystallization. He has published many chapters with Springer Nature. Dr. Nadeem A Khan is an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering department at King Khalid University, Abha. His major expertise is in wastewater treatment using a biological approach and addressing the feasibility of the desalination process via pre-treatment using a membrane-based bioreactor. His research focused on pharmaceutical removal using bioreactors, physicochemical methods, and their combination. He serves as an Editorial board member of Nature Journal- Scientific Reports and worked for the Springer-Discover Water, Hindawi journal and MDPI journal- water. He has co-authored/authored more than 100 refereed journals and 4 Patents. He had a lifetime citation 3033 with an H-index of 33. He also published 06 books with the International Water Association (IWA), CRC Press, and Elsevier publishing houses. Further, he has been with 06 patents so far on wastewater treatment. Dr. Afzal Husain Khan works in the Civil and Architectural Engineering Department at Jazan University, Saudi Arabia. He received his PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, and B.E. and M. Tech degrees from the Aligarh Muslim University, India. He is an academic editor of PLOS ONE, Advances in Civil Engineering (Wiley), Associate Editor in TEIEE, and Guest Editor in Elsevier/Springer/Frontiers journals. He has been involved in many funded projects under the Deanship of Scientific Research (DSR) in Saudi Arabia. He has 90+ peer-reviewed publications (h-index >30; >3000+ citations), 4 books (edited), 6 patents, and 5 book chapters to his credit.Dr. Ravi Shankar received his B. Tech (Chemical Engineering) from Birsa Institute of Technology, Sindri, Dhanbad, India, M. Tech (Chemical Engineering) and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. He has total 09 years of teaching, research, and industrial experience. He has published more than 35 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals. Presently he is supervising 07 Ph.D. students from different disciplines. His current research is related to Advanced Oxidation Process (Electrocoagulation), Microbial Fuel Cell, Heat Transfer, and Biofuel. He has published more than 10 book chapters in Springer, Elsevier and Nova Science, USA, edited books. Dr. Md. Nahid Pervez is a research fellow at the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Salerno (Italy), where he drives research activities at the Sanitary Environmental Engineering Division (SEED). Dr. Pervez received his BSc degree in Textile Engineering (2014) at the Southeast University (Bangladesh) under the supervision of Prof Syed Fakhrul Hassan. After that, he secured Color Root (Hubei) Scholarship to pursue his MSc studies in Textile Engineering at the Wuhan Textile University (China) in 2016. Then he received his Ph.D. from the University of Salerno (Italy) in 2022. His research focuses on wastewater treatment, resource recovery, sustainable textiles, and process modelling. Dr. Pervez is the Topical Advisory Panel Member of Sustainability. He serves as Guest Associate Editor for Frontiers in Sustainability and Review Editor for Frontiers in Water.
