This book is a survey of world history that explores diverse women’s and gender history at the secondary reading level. With sample lesson plans and teaching activities, this guide aligns with curriculum and content already taught in secondary schools.The book spans prehistory to the end of the 20th century, highlighting the lives of women in every region of the world, elite rulers and peasant women, as well as queer, trans, and non-binary people where known and relevant.
