Jean Maye is a best-selling author in social care interactive workbooks for children, young adults, and families and a published fiction writer. She is also a multi-award-wining screenwriter/producer.In 1990 she graduated with a joint degree in social work & probation. She was already a qualified youth worker. Past roles have included work youth & adult offending, roles in hospices, fostering, adoption and child protection.Jean’s passion for writing children’s fiction stems from her childhood love for the works of Enid Blyton, C.C Lewis, J.R.R Tolkien and Kenneth Grahame.
