He spent seven years with the Military Police TA and has published a number of books and articles on the decorations of the Third Reich and their recipients.Lee James Ray studied design before beginning a career in digital illustration. He worked on numerous gaming products creating 3D models and backgrounds, before becoming a freelance graphic designer in 2004. Howard Gerrard studied at the Wallasey School of Art and has been a freelance designer and illustrator for over 20 years. He is an associate member of the Guild of Aviation Artists and has won both the Society of British Aerospace Companies Award and the Wilkinson Sword Trophy.
